Dr Vivek holds an extensive experience of more than 10 years as a consultant gastroenterologist with specialization in advanced therapeutic Endoscopy, EUS & ERCP.

Education qualifications

Dr. Vivek completed his MBBS from Andhra Medical College, Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences Visakhapatnam, AP in the year 2010 followed by which he pursued and completed his MD(General Medicine) in the year 2014 from Asram Medical College, Alluri Sitarama Raju Academy of Medical Sciences, Eluru AP. With the zeal and compassion towards the importance of good digestion, Dr.Vivek bagged the first rank in Andhra Pradesh DM Entrance exam for superspeciality and completed DM (Gastroenterology & Hepatology) from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, Telangana in the year 2017 and was awarded gold medal for his excellence.

  • Consultant Interventional Gastroenterologist In Yashoda Hospital, Somajiguda ( November 2019 - present).
  • Consultant (August 2018 – April 2019) at Department of Gastroenterology, Apollo Hospitals, Secunderabad. Participated in patient care including outpatients and in patients. Performed routine diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies, high resolution manometry, pH studies, capsule endoscopy and emergency intervention. Regular intra departmental academic activities including seminars, journal clubs, case presentations and grand rounds.
  • Senior Resident at Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad (August 2017 - July 2018).
  • Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy (Interventional ERCP and EUS) at Baldota Institute of Digestive Sciences, Gleneagles Global Hospital, Mumbai (April - September 2019).
